Fighting Online Child Sexual Abuse & Exploitation With Know2Protect

Know2Protect is a Department of Homeland Security national public awareness campaign to educate and empower children, teens, parents, trusted adults, and policymakers to prevent and combat online child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSEA); explain how to report online enticement and victimization; and offer response and support resources for victims and survivors of online child sexual exploitation. The campaign is embedded within the DHS Cyber Crimes Center, which is led by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). The campaign works daily with HSI’s Child Exploitation Investigations Unit to ensure its messaging conveys the latest threats, trends, and preventive strategies. The campaign relies on the expertise and authority of HSI special agents tasked with finding online predators and bringing them to justice.

Mandated Reporter Training is collaborating with Know2Protect to help raise awareness by extending the reach and amplifying the messaging of this campaign.
