This training consists of four lessons, each of which will conclude with questions to test your knowledge of the material. You will learn profession-specific information, considerations, and scenarios unique to law enforcement, as well as:

  • The role of law enforcement in preventing child abuse and neglect
  • Different types of child abuse and neglect and how to recognize them
  • How to report suspected or known child abuse
  • Investigating reports of child abuse or neglect
  • The timeline of events that follow a report
