Online predators on gaming platforms, social media, and other sites and apps pose a real threat to youth. That’s why the Know2Protect campaign is working to combat online child sexual exploitation by asking concerned adults to take the Pledge2Protect.

Pledge2Protect, created by the Department of Homeland Security’s Know2Protect campaign, is a call-to-action aiming to create a global movement against crimes of exploitation targeting kids and teens online. Pledge2Protect is an opportunity to help protect children as well as to learn more about this crime and how communities can help prevent it.

Learn how you can join Mandated Reporter Training and take the Pledge2Protect children and teens against online exploitation.

Guide to Mandated Reporting in Massachusetts

Every professional who works with children in Massachusetts has a legal responsibility to keep them safe. Under Massachusetts law, certain professionals such as teachers, medical professionals, social workers, law enforcement officers, and many others must file a report if they have reasonable cause to suspect child abuse, neglect, trafficking, or exploitation.

What is California AB 1207 Mandated Reporter Training?

California childcare providers are in a unique position to protect children against harm. This is why childcare and daycare workers are considered mandated reporters in California. To equip them for this duty, California Assembly Bill 1207 (AB 1207) was passed to ensure that licensed child day care providers, administrators, and employees are fully trained to recognize and report suspected child abuse or neglect.
